Job summary

All Care in Newbury is seeking a motivated Gym Instructor / Rehabilitation Exercise Specialist to join our specialist rehabilitation team. You will deliver safe, engaging exercise sessions in the gym and hydrotherapy pool for individuals living with traumatic brain injury and other neurological conditions.

You will work alongside physiotherapists and rehabilitation professionals, set patient-centred goals, monitor progress and help restore strength, mobility and independence.

Gym Instructor / Rehabilitation Exercise Specialist

We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and enthusiastic Gym Instructor / Rehabilitation Exercise Specialist to join our specialist rehabilitation team supporting individuals living with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and other neurological conditions. The successful candidate will deliver safe, effective and engaging exercise sessions within our gym and hydrotherapy pool environments.

Working Hours

9:00am to 2:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualised exercise programmes in the gym and hydrotherapy pool.

Personal Care Responsibilities

• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Support clients with changing for hydrotherapy sessions.
• Provide personal care while maintaining dignity and respect.
• Follow individual care plans and policies.

The successful candidate will be passionate about helping individuals achieve their potential and willing to undertake specialist rehabilitation training. They should demonstrate empathy, enthusiasm, motivation and commitment, communicate effectively, and work positively within a small multidisciplinary team.
