Gecko Travel Recruitment are delighted to be working with an award-winning travel business who are recruiting a Guest Services Executive to join their team.

Role

As Guest Services Executive, you will be the first point of contact for guests, handling queries across phone, email and social media. You will deliver exceptional customer support, ensure communication meets brand standards, and respond with empathy and professionalism to resolve issues efficiently. This role also includes participation in the 24/7 emergency support rota.

Qualifications
  • Customer service experience, ideally within the travel industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong letter-writing and guest correspondence ability
  • Calm, patient, and empathetic manner with high discretion
  • Confidence using communication platforms and software systems
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and work well under pressure
  • Collaborative mindset and confidence dealing with internal and external stakeholders
Additional Information
  • Salary £23,850
  • Excellent training provided
  • Hybrid working - 3 days in the office in Essex (near Thurrock) and 2 days working from home
  • Wednesdays mandatory in the office
  • Working pattern: 5 days across Monday-Saturday (09:00-17:30 Mon-Fri, 09:00-17:00 Sat)
