Job summary

Kew Green Hotels is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager (or Assistant F&B Manager) to lead a dynamic team at our Horley operation. You’ll ensure outstanding food and beverage service, maintain high cleanliness, coach staff, manage stock and labor against the P&L, and work closely with the General Manager to enhance guest experiences.

Food & Beverage Manager looking for a new challenge, or Assistant F&B Manager seeking progression? You could be exactly who we're looking for!

What you’ll be doing as a Food & Beverage Manager

• Supporting with the provision of an outstanding food & beverage service
• Ensuring that every guest experiences a safe visit, exceeding all expectations surrounding cleanliness
• Coaching, mentoring and leading your F&B team with a trusting approach - ensuring their commitment to delivering outstanding service
• Getting to know your customers and using your relationships to offer suggestions to enhance their experiences
• Working closely with your Operations Manager who will encourage you to love change and find your own unique ways to further enhance your guest experience
• Oh, and you’ll also be required to be a magician. Or at least be capable of juggling both our bar and Restaurant, not missing any details
• Managing stock and labour margins against your P&L.

What’ll make you a great fit for this Food & Beverage Manager role

• You’ll already be an established Food & Beverage Manager or an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager seeking their next challenge within a forward-thinking, change-loving company
• Whilst it would be great if you had experience working in a hotel, this isn’t essential
• Experience leading, coaching and training a team
• You’ll enjoy using tech – we have lots of it to make your life easier and our guests experience more seamless
• You’ll love people – and as a result, have great interpersonal and communication skills
• Details? You love them! You’ll be incredibly attentive with guests as a result
• Flexible and able to remain focused on results under pressure and to challenging deadlines
• Self-motivated and confident
