Overview
Working closely with senior stakeholders-including legal, asset management, and origination teams-you'll gain exposure to the full loan lifecycle and make a direct impact on performance outcomes and risk management across a diverse portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor and daily point of contact for the management of UK and European CRE loans.
- Collaborate with in-house asset management and legal teams to review, interpret, and manage finance documents across the loan lifecycle.
- Support loan origination and execution by ensuring operational readiness and post-closing integrity.
- Build and maintain robust financial models to track performance, covenant compliance, and key deliverables.
- Liaise with borrowers, facility agents, and third-party stakeholders to coordinate timely reporting and manage drawdowns and funding events.
- Assess waiver and modification requests and deliver insightful recommendations to internal credit teams.
- Review and validate loan-related calculations including interest waterfalls and transaction reporting.
- Produce high-quality internal and external reports on portfolio performance, risks, and strategic recommendations.
Qualifications
- Degree-qualified in Finance, Real Estate, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in loan servicing, debt asset management, real estate finance, or credit risk.
- Highly proficient in Excel, with experience in financial modelling, scenario analysis, and reporting automation.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication abilities, with the confidence to engage with senior stakeholders and articulate complex issues clearly.
- Excellent time management, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and ownership of responsibilities.
- A collaborative mindset, combined with the independence and initiative to manage workstreams end-to-end.
- Driven, resilient, and adaptable in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.
Work Schedule
Hybrid work model: Two days per week onsite at a prestigious City of London office (Tues & Wed). Remaining days (Mon, Thurs & Fri) offer flexible working arrangements, including remote options.
