Job summary

Merkur Slots UK Limited is seeking a Team Member for Ilkeston on a 16-hour week. You will welcome customers and help create a friendly gaming atmosphere in our venues. Pay rate is £12.84–£13.84 per hour, with a higher night rate from 23:00–06:00.

The role requires excellent communication, flexibility for rota weekends and bank holidays, and the ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team. Training and career progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and people skills required.
• Strong focus on delivering first-class customer service.
• Flexibility to work on a rota including weekends and bank holidays.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure venue housekeeping is kept to a high standard.
• Provide service rounds and refreshments per brand guidelines.
• Monitor customer behaviour and note any suspicious or disruptive activity.
• Assist with administration to maintain 100% accuracy.
• Help promotions run smoothly and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Interact with customers during shifts and log interactions per policy.
• Maintain brand dress code and share product knowledge with customers.
