Scotsman Group in Glasgow is seeking a hospitality professional to join our front-of-house and events team across restaurant, bar and function spaces, supporting both service and kitchen operations.

You will greet guests, take orders, upsell with strong menu knowledge, manage table and bar service, assist with event setup and payments, and uphold hygiene and safety to ensure smooth daily operations and memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant, cafe, bar or busy guest service environment preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with guests.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting while maintaining service quality.
• Willingness to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests warmly, provide menus and show them to tables.
• Take accurate orders, note dietary requirements, and upsell items.
• Recommend menu and beverage pairings to guests.
• Check guest satisfaction and handle feedback professionally.
• Deliver food from kitchen with high presentation standards.
• Manage tables and stock condiments, glassware and tableware.
• Take bar orders and prepare drinks per specifications.
• Assist in setting up events and arranging function rooms.
• Process payments and adhere to till procedures.
