Job summary

Travis Perkins in Rhondda, CF39 0PB, is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to lead daily branch life, coach a team, and drive customer service excellence. You will foster strong customer relationships and deliver profitable sales growth through effective leadership and hands-on management.

You will oversee branch operations, including fleet management, the tool hire department, and the Benchmarx showroom, while ensuring safety and high standards.

Qualifications

• Leadership & People Skills: Experience motivating and developing teams, building strong relationships, and negotiating with confidence.
• Organisation: Great attention to detail, with the ability to manage your workload and prioritise effectively.
• Safety First: A strong commitment to team and customer safety, making sure high standards are met at all times.
• Customer Focus & Energy: Dedication to brilliant customer service, a team-player attitude, and a focus on hitting goals.
• UK Driving Licence: A full UK driving licence is required, as you will visit customers from time to time.
• Experience: Industry experience is a plus and will help you get up to speed quickly. However, if you are a successful sales leader from another customer-focused industry, we would still love to hear from you!
