A creative marketing agency is searching for a Sales and Marketing Lead. This role involves developing business and marketing strategies to position the agency as a leader in visual storytelling. The successful candidate will have experience in the creative sector, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to turn conversations into collaborations. The position offers hybrid working with one day on-site in South Yorkshire, alongside competitive compensation including bonus.
They are an award-winning full-service agency: from telling stories with pictures for impact, through to delivering projects using animation, rich pictures, illustration, infographics, reports, branding and web design.
You’ll lead on both sales and marketing, creating and managing systems that help them reach new audiences, nurture relationships, and position the agency as the go‑to creative partner for visual storytelling in the research and public sectors.
This role is ideal for someone who's both strategic and hands on: a natural relationship-builder who loves systems as much as stories, and who isn't afraid to experiment, measure, and refine along the way.
The successful applicant will have experience of growing a marketing agency in a creative industry by developing and delivering on an integrated business development and marketing strategy.
An understand of the public and or academic sector would be advantageous.
It goes without saying that you will be a self starter with real initiative and incredible interpersonal and influencing skills.
Understands relationship-led sales and knows how to turn conversations into collaborations.
Can design and execute marketing strategies that build awareness, trust and convert – not just traffic.
Is confident managing systems (CRM, automation tools, analytics) to support growth and efficiency.
