About Our Client

Job Description

You’ll lead on both sales and marketing, creating and managing systems that help them reach new audiences, nurture relationships, and position the agency as the go-to creative partner for visual storytelling in the research and public sectors. This role is ideal for someone who’s both strategic and hands‑on: a natural relationship‑builder who loves systems as much as stories, and who isn’t afraid to experiment, measure, and refine along the way.

  • Conduct sales calls with potential and existing clients, understanding their needs and translating them into creative opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver quotes and proposals that convert, align with our clients' needs, and our brand voice and values.
  • Lead outbound prospecting, including cold emailing and tailored outreach to target sectors.
  • Build and maintain a clear, efficient sales and marketing CRM system to track leads, conversions, and client relationships.
  • Support setup and management of procurement frameworks to expand access to new client opportunities.
  • Develop and implement client referral and retention strategies to maximize client lifetime value.
  • Conduct client interviews and map the client journey to identify opportunities for upselling, cross‑selling, and experience improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with Director on refining our pricing strategy and sales processes.
The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will have experience of growing a marketing agency in a creative industry by developing and delivering on an integrated business development and marketing strategy. An understanding of the public and or academic sector would be advantageous. It goes without saying that you will be a self‑starter with real initiative and incredible interpersonal and influencing skills. Understands relationship‑led sales and knows how to turn conversations into collaborations. Can design and execute marketing strategies that build awareness, trust and convert - not just traffic. Is confident managing systems (CRM, automation tools, analytics) to support growth and efficiency.
