Job summary

Wren Academy Finchley is seeking an enthusiastic qualified teacher to contribute to our inclusive, all-through Church of England academy. You will plan and deliver high quality lessons, build strong relationships with pupils and colleagues, and support a curriculum aligned with the National Curriculum.

Using data to inform planning, you will monitor progress, provide timely feedback, and help pupils reach their fullest potential.

Qualifications

• Must have a good degree and QTS.
• Experience teaching across year groups is desirable.
• Ability to inspire pupils to become independent learners.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare high quality lessons.
• Use the National Curriculum to set targets and monitor progress.
• Teach high quality lessons meeting the needs of all children.
• Provide regular feedback in line with policy.
• Assess, record and report on progress and attainment.
• Ensure effective deployment of classroom support.
• Use ICT to support teaching and learning.
• Plan and deliver smooth transitions between year groups.
• Uphold a positive learning environment.
• Prepare pupils for National assessments.
