About The Role

Tropic is entering an exciting new chapter - one where we’re doubling down on the very heart of our business: our Ambassadors. For over a decade, our field has powered Tropic’s growth, impact, and community, and now we’re ready to unlock the next phase of what’s possible.

This role exists to champion and elevate our Ambassador leaders, helping them grow with confidence, clarity, and commercial strength. As our Growth and Development Lead, you’ll work closely with mid-level Ambassador leadership teams across the field, supporting them to step fully into leadership, strengthen duplication, and build sustainable, thriving businesses through the Success Plan.

Sitting at the intersection of real field experience and HQ strategy, you’ll be a powerful voice for our Ambassador leaders - translating vision into action, listening deeply to what the field truly needs, and bringing fresh, innovative thinking that keeps Tropic ahead of the industry. Through coaching, mentoring, training, and innovation, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of leadership within our Ambassador community, and in turn, the future growth of Tropic itself.

Key Responsibilities

Mid‑Level Ambassador Leader Development (Frontline & Downlines)

  • Support and develop mid-level leaders as they progress through the Success Plan.
  • Run coaching, small‑group mentoring, and matched training sessions tailored to where leaders are now, not where HQ assumes they are.
  • Help leaders move from doing to leading: building confidence in duplication, communication and team development.
  • Identify potential in the field early and guide leaders through the next stage of their journey.

Success Plan Progression & Promotion

  • Drive promotions through the Success Plan by:
  • Breaking down what “good” looks like at each stage
  • Helping leaders build consistent, repeatable habits
  • Removing complexity and overwhelm
  • Partner with leaders to create clear, achievable progression plans for themselves and their teams.
  • Celebrate progress, not just outcomes - reinforcing belief and momentum at every stage.

Training, Coaching & Mentoring (HQ‑Led, Field‑Focused)

  • Design and deliver practical, inspiring training that leaders can immediately apply with their teams.
  • Run matched training programmes for specific leadership levels or challenges.
  • Balance structure with warmth - bringing clarity, confidence and consistency without diluting the Tropic culture.
  • Ensure training is product‑led, people‑led and commercially relevant.

Innovation & Industry Leadership

  • Bring innovative thinking to how we develop leaders in direct selling.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in:
  • Field development
  • Social selling
  • Leader enablement
  • Product‑led growth
  • Continually evolve our approach to training, tools and leader support, ensuring Tropic remains a leader within the sector, not a follower.
  • Partner with HQ teams to turn innovation into simple, usable field solutions.

Field Insight & Continuous Improvement

  • Act as a trusted bridge between HQ and the field, ensuring insights flow both ways.
  • Spot patterns early: what’s working, what’s stalling, where leaders need more support.
  • Feed real‑world insight into training, communications and leadership programmes.
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in direct sales / social selling / network marketing, with success in the field.
  • A strong understanding of how leaders progress through success plans and what blocks them at mid‑levels.
  • Experience working effectively with both field leaders and corporate teams.
  • Exceptional coach and mentor, able to develop people, not create dependency.
  • Confident facilitator who can lead sessions, small groups and larger training sessions.
  • Commercially minded, with a deep understanding of how behaviour drives growth.
  • Innovative, curious and willing to challenge “how it’s always been done”.
  • Purpose‑led, values‑driven and people‑first.
  • Warm, credible and grounded and trusted by the field.
  • Passionate about product, community and doing business the right way.
What We Offer
  • Employment Type: This role is offered full‑time. Field role that requires bespoke hours and weekends.
  • Location: Tropic HQ is a short walk from Beddington Lane Tram stop, with direct links to East Croydon and Wimbledon.
  • Hybrid Working: Hybrid / field‑based role with regular travel to support leaders in‑person.
