Job description

BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Group Warehouse Manager for their client in Boldon, Tyne and Wear. You will be based at the office in Boldon, however in the near future (6-9 months time) they will be moving to larger premises, based at Newton Aycliffe. You must be willing to be relocated to the new office, with no hybrid working. This is a site-based role.

You’ll be a dynamic warehouse leader with several years experience in leading and developing a team. You are forward-thinking and want to make a difference, with passion for delivering the highest standard of service.

Responsibilities/Requirements
  • Oversee daily warehouse activities
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
  • Team leadership and staff supervision
  • Process improvement, implement change
  • Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives
  • Manage logistics, despatch and delivery
  • Oversee safe loading and delivery vehicles, including route planning
  • Working closely with internal departments for example project and sales department
  • Budget and cost management
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
