Job summary

PIB Group is seeking a Group Technical Accounting Manager to lead technical accounting across the Group, ensuring high-quality financial reporting and acting as a primary contact for auditors and advisers.

You will own IFRS/UK GAAP policies, lead acquisition accounting, oversee EIR models and intercompany balances, and manage FX and lease accounting with supporting systems integration.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with post-qualification experience in technical accounting.
• Experience in multi-entity Group environments and complex acquisitions.
• Strong IFRS/UK Companies Act knowledge; UK GAAP exposure is a plus.
• Proven experience working with auditors and external advisers.

Responsibilities

• Own the Group's technical accounting policies and prepare papers for management and the Board.
• Lead acquisition accounting and advise on group restructurings and intra-group transfers.
• Oversee EIR models for Group debt and intercompany loan accounting.
• Oversee FX accounting and IFRS 16 lease models, leveraging CCH Tagetik or similar tools.
• Own accounting for share-based payment schemes under IFRS 2.
• Lead IFRS 18 implementation and support statutory financial statements.
