Job Description

With increasing complexity and scrutiny in transfer pricing (e.g. BEPS, transparency, international tax reform), the Group needs a senior TP professional who can bridge the gap between strategy, business needs, and technical tax requirements. You will help ensure that the Group’s TP model remains future‑proof, defensible, and aligned with business priorities, while minimizing tax risk, operational friction, and cost inefficiencies.

Your work will help secure tax certainty, optimize group structures, defend audit positions, and drive value from an integrated TP framework across all jurisdictions in which the Group operates.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Support business units, finance, legal, IT and other teams on TP matters.
  • Advise on strategic TP issues: pricing, business restructurings, supply chain reconfiguration, IP migration, cost allocations, shared services, funding/intragroup financing etc.
  • Propose, refine, and maintain TP policy and guidelines for key initiatives.
  • Actively support, challenge, document and defend business cases / investment decisions from a TP perspective.
  • Identify TP optimization opportunities and lead projects across jurisdictions.
  • Monitor and report transfer pricing risk exposures globally
  • Support TP audits, Competent Authority requests, mutual agreement procedures (MAP), advance pricing agreements (APAs) or rulings.
  • In collaboration with local tax / finance teams and external advisors, coordinate responses to tax authorities’ queries, reviews or audits.
Qualifications

Professional Experience:

  • 6 to 8 years’ experience in transfer pricing (in-house or in a combination of in-house and advisory).
  • Experience in multijurisdictional TP work (cross‑border, functional & risk analyses, benchmarking, financing).
  • Proven track record of advising business stakeholders and managing high complexity projects.
  • Experience liaising with tax authorities, audits, or advance pricing agreements is a must.
  • Experience working in or for companies operating in multiple European or global jurisdictions is a must.

Technical & Analytical Skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge of OECD TP guidelines, BEPS, local TP rules and practices in key jurisdictions.
  • Comfortable reviewing and analysing financial / operational data, interpreting business models, constructing or reviewing TP models.
  • Ability to challenge assumptions, evaluate sensitivities, and propose defensible alternatives.
  • Strong commercial mindset—able to think in “business + tax” terms and balance trade‑offs.
Additional Information

Language & Location:

  • Fluent in English. Additional European language(s) (e.g. German, French) is a plus.
  • Based in Europe (ideally Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, France or UK).
  • Remote / hybrid working model, with occasional but limited travel as needed.

Educational / Professional Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Tax, or related discipline.
  • Professional TP or tax qualification or equivalent (e.g. ADIT, ATT etc.) is advantageous.
