Job summary

Core3 Ltd in Gatwick is recruiting a Group Tax Manager to own the UK corporate tax and oversee international compliance across the group. You'll report to the Finance Director and act as the internal lead for tax, covering VAT, transfer pricing, employment taxes and tax governance.

The role offers hybrid working, a £90,000 salary, and a 20% bonus. You'll drive tax reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and work with senior stakeholders on a finance systems transformation.

Qualifications

• CTA qualified or equivalent.
• Strong UK corporation tax experience.
• Experience in international or multi-entity environments.
• Exposure to VAT, transfer pricing, employment taxes and international compliance.
• Strong governance and process-improvement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of UK corporate tax compliance and reporting across the group.
• Lead quarterly tax reporting, provisions and cash tax forecasting.
• Bring more tax activity in-house and reduce reliance on external advisers.
• Oversee VAT, employment taxes and other indirect taxes.
• Coordinate international tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strengthen tax governance, policies, controls and risk management.
• Maintain tax balance sheet reconciliations and resolve items.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure correct tax treatment.
• Define tax requirements for a new finance system and support implementation.
• Identify opportunities to automate and improve tax processes and reporting.
