Job summary

Praxis Group in the UK is seeking a tax trainee to join the tax team, supporting compliance services for clients, and benefiting from external courses and on‑the‑job training.

You will assist with tax reporting for Crown Dependencies and the UK, draft communications with tax authorities, maintain spreadsheets and assist in delivering a reliable portfolio of client work while developing professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Educated to A level standard or above.
• Willingness to work toward a relevant qualification.
• No tax experience is required as full training will be given.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of tax reporting in the Crown Dependencies and UK as required for trusts and companies.
• Draft Communications with tax authorities and group teams regarding tax payments and returns.
• Updating and maintaining tasks and compliance spreadsheets.
• Preparation of tax review of accounts to aid identification of key tax risks.
• Working with management to assist in completion of tasks for a key portfolio of clients.
• Develop relationships within wider office teams.

Job summary

Working within the tax team to provide tax compliance services for clients, on the job training will be supported by external courses.

Job accountabilities

• Assist with the preparation of tax reporting in the Crown Dependencies and UK as required for trusts and companies,

Minimum education and experience

• Educated to “A” level standard or above
• No tax experience is required as full training will be given
• Willingness to work toward a relevant qualification
