We're seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Group Reporting Manager, on a 12-month FTC basis, to join our dynamic team at our London Corporate Headquarters. This is a high-impact role within a vibrant learning environment, offering significant growth potential.

What you'll be doing:
  • Elevating financial reporting processes: Identify opportunities and drive improvements in our Group's financial reporting procedures as well as influencing BAU operations across global processes.
  • Optimising Intercompany processes: Drive the efficient management and reconciliation of intercompany transactions, ensuring accuracy and consistency across all entities.
  • Drive offshore team excellence: Manage an offshore team of six, providing guidance, clear communication, mentorship and support, fostering effective and consistent delivery. Work with the Senior Manager, Group Reporting to continue to transition BAU Intercompany processes to the offshore team.
  • Powering global consolidation: Contribute to the consolidation of a vast network of companies across multiple jurisdictions and currencies.
  • Navigating multifaceted financial landscapes: Tackle challenging conversations with global controllers ensuring alignment of accounting treatment and application of Intercompany guidance/policies across a global landscape.
  • Leading complex accounting activities: Take ownership for updating and maintaining group Intercompany policies, ensuring compliance across the group.
  • Ensuring compliance and rigour: Monitor compliance with WPP Reporting and Accounting Policies and Sarbanes‑Oxley Act requirements.
  • Influencing senior leadership: Prepare and present key financial information to senior management, providing valuable insights and analysis.
What you'll need:
  • Qualified and experienced: ACA/ACCA/CA qualified with a proven track record of project management in a fast‑paced environment, ideally within a Big 4 firm.
  • Complex consolidation master: Experience with large, complex, multi‑currency group consolidations, preferably within a UK premium or US‑listed company.
  • Intercompany reconciliation specialist: Demonstrated ability to manage intricate intercompany accounting, reconciliation, and elimination processes within a large, multi‑entity group.
  • Analytical powerhouse: Exceptional analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and sound judgment.
  • Communication guru: Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, from operating companies to senior management.
  • Driven and organised: Self‑motivated, highly organised, and able to manage multiple deadlines under pressure.
  • IFRS expert: Deep understanding of IFRS accounting standards, experience with Sarbanes‑Oxley rules and regulations preferred.
