Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group is seeking a motivated Procurement Buyer to join our Indirect Procurement team, covering IT, HR, and Factory Services. The role focuses on supplier negotiations, tenders, RFIs, and implementing supplier agreements, with on-site presence at our Birmingham Head Office three days a week.

About the Role

As a Procurement Buyer, you'll be part of a team focused on Indirect Procurement Categories in IT, HR, and Factory Services. Your typical day-to-day will include meeting with suppliers, leading contract negotiations & tenders, RFI's, and iplementing supplier agreements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Tenders and Negotiations from start to finish
• Assist Manager/Head of Procurement in preparing RFI, RFQ, and ITT documents
• Source new Suppliers and Materials
• Negotiate with Suppliers
• Implement Category Plans

About You

Ideally you will have demonstrable experience in Procurement, and ideally some experience with supplier selection & negotiations, as well as tender management. We are looking for someone ambitious who is eager to learn as there are a range of high-profile projects to support, as well as the chance to join a business widely known for its internal progression & development opportunities.

Key Skills

• Good experience in a Procurement position as a Buyer leading contract negotiations and tenders from start to finish
• Experience leading tenders and negotiations
• Ideally some knowledge of Indirect Procurement Categories, Supplier Negotiation, Contract Management & Tendering, with a desire to be client facing and visit & develop relationships with suppliers.
• Direct procurement also considered as skills are transferable.
• MCIPS Qualification / equivalent or working towards is beneficial but not essential.

The role is based at our Head Office in Birmingham, with an expectation to be on-site 3 days per week.
