You will be joining a hardworking, friendly and collaborative Payroll team. As a Payroll Advisor, you will provide a comprehensive Payroll service to the business. The role will deliver Payroll and Benefits transactional activities that are accurate, of high quality with a focus on first class customer service and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a high quality end to end payroll service to the business in an accurate and timely manner
  • Processing and review of all weekly and monthly Payroll transactional activities including occupational and statutory payments and deductions
  • Providing support to employees with any payroll-related inquiries
  • Keeping up to date with all relevant legislation
  • Support with the annual pay review and bonus process
  • Administration of Pension schemes including Auto Enrolment compliance requirements, regular reporting of membership and contribution data to the providers
  • Administration and reporting of employee benefits such as PMI, Life Assurance and SAYE
  • Supporting the annual production of P11d's for employee benefits in kind
  • Working as a team to meet Payroll deadlines as part of the wider People function
Qualifications
  • Relevant Payroll qualification is essential, ideally CIPP qualified or relevant experience
  • True end-to-end Payroll specialist, ideally with in-house experience
  • Subject matter expert in relation to current UK payroll and pension legislation with a passion for payroll controls and governance
  • Evidence of continuous professional development relating to payroll and benefits
  • Payroll systems and operational experience at a professional level, ideally Workday
  • Team player with the ability to work under pressure with a focus on attention to detail
