Fire Safety Manager - NHS Estates

We're seeking an experienced Fire Safety Manager to lead and develop fire safety compliance across our complex healthcare estate, including both PFI and non-PFI sites.

Responsibilities
  • Lead on all aspects of fire safety management, ensuring full compliance with statutory and NHS standards.
  • Develop and maintain the organisation's Fire Safety Management System, policies, and fire strategy.
  • Conduct and oversee fire risk assessments, audits, inspections, and staff training.
  • Provide expert advice to senior management and report to Trust committees on fire safety performance and compliance.
Qualifications
  • Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) in fire engineering or fire safety.
  • 5+ years' experience in a senior fire safety management role.
  • Strong knowledge of Firecode, Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, and Building Regulations 2010.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical and communication skills.
  • Professional membership (IFE, IOSH) desirable.
