This Group Financial Reporting Manager role is a key position within the finance team, responsible for delivering accurate and timely group reporting while reporting directly to the Group Financial Reporting Senior Manager. You'll bring strong technical accounting expertise, act as the main audit point of contact, and have solid experience in intercompany and consolidation processes.

Our Client are a leading, PE backed advertising company, with offices across the globe. This role will be based in the UK London head office, partnering closely with the international & UK finance teams and stakeholders.

Description
  • Prepare consolidated financial reports in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Oversee the group's financial reporting processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to financial policies.
  • Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and responses.
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and implement necessary updates.
  • Lead and mentor team members within the accounting and finance department.
  • Prepare monthly management packs and present to stakeholders.
  • Calculate and post monthly group journals, ensuring accurate records across the group.
  • Liaise with business units to collate month-end reporting information.
  • Maintain accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations with supporting commentary and actions.
  • Manage group consolidation processes.
  • Oversee the year-end external audit and prepare annual statutory accounts.
  • Produce technical accounting papers as required.
  • Lead on the implementation of new accounting standards.
  • Strengthen group processes and document key procedures.
  • Support integration of newly acquired companies.
  • Assist with finance projects throughout the year as required.
Profile

A successful Group Financial Reporting Manager should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and financial reporting processes.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Media & Agency industry is highly desirable
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools (NetSuite is desirable)
