Job summary

ACCA Careers is partnering with a Leeds-based technology business backed by Private Equity to recruit a Group Financial Controller. You will oversee financial reporting, compliance, and financial planning to support the company’s goals.

You will lead the accounting and finance team, manage cash flow, and provide strategic insights to the CFO, with a hybrid working arrangement and a performance-based bonus.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA required.
• Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proactive mindset to improve processes and ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of financial reporting and ensure regulatory compliance, with focus on revenue recognition.
• Monitor and manage cash flow for financial stability.
• Lead and develop the accounting and finance team.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
• Provide strategic financial insights to support business decisions.
• Be a strong communicator and right-hand person to the CFO.
• Ensure robust internal controls and risk management.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulators as required.
