Axon Moore are supporting a thriving, fast-paced services business in South Yorkshire with the appointment of a Group Financial Controller. The business has revenues of £100m+ and they have experienced significant success in recent years, having embarked on a successful M&A buy and build program. Their brand is well recognised, and they have a culture that is high performing, flexible and open to fresh ideas. They require a Group Financial Controller who can implement and maintain robust financial controls, lead both the financial reporting and operational finance functions, and support the CFO with strategic growth initiatives. Key responsibilities :

• Oversee a large, multi-tiered finance function spanning operational finance and both financial and management reporting
• Oversee financial reporting including group consolidations
• Manage the external audit at year end
• Oversee preparation of the budgets and forecasts including KPIs
• Preparing board packs and investor updates, presenting key information to the board and investment stakeholders
• Engage in financial systems updates and projects, streamlining where possible and making recommendations
• Ensure robust internal controls and compliance measures are adhered to
• Manage cash, working capital and treasury arrangements
• Supporting M&A processes and integrations
