Job summary

Michael Page client in North Lincolnshire is seeking a technically strong qualified accountant for a 15-month fixed-term contract. The role covers technical accounting, financial control and stakeholder engagement across reporting, compliance and governance activities.

Key duties include group consolidations, IFRS/UK GAAP statutory statements, treasury, tax, controls and board reporting. Hybrid working with 3 days in the office is offered. Start September/October preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA or equivalent.
• Strong technical accounting expertise in group reporting.

Responsibilities

• Leading monthly and annual group consolidations across multiple entities.
• Preparing statutory financial statements under IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Managing intercompany reconciliations and consolidation adjustments.
• Supporting board reporting, budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Owning group cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
• Managing treasury activities including FX and banking relationships.
• Coordinating corporation tax and other compliance submissions with external advisers.
• Maintaining robust financial controls, governance frameworks and audit processes.
• Acting as the key contact for external auditors.
• Producing technical accounting papers and supporting financial control reviews.
• Line managing one team member.
• Supporting senior leadership with analysis, insights and continuous improvement initiatives.
