Job summary

Debbie Burbage Recruitment is partnering with an international business to recruit a Group Financial Controller for a newly created role in the Northampton region. You will own group reporting, multi-entity consolidations and financial controls, while engaging in funding, acquisitions and business planning.

Working closely with a commercially minded CFO, the role offers hybrid working, a competitive package, bonus and benefits as the company expands globally.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong hands-on consolidation experience
• Financial accounting expertise
• Advanced Excel modelling skills

Are you a technically strong Financial Controller who enjoys financial accounting and group consolidations, but would love the opportunity to become more commercially involved?

We're working exclusively with a growing international business to recruit a Group Financial Controller into a newly created position.

Working closely with an experienced and commercially minded CFO, you'll take ownership of group reporting, financial control and multi-entity, multi-currency consolidations. You'll also have the opportunity to get involved in funding, acquisitions, business planning and helping to shape the finance function as the group grows.

We're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong hands‑on consolidation experience, financial accounting expertise and advanced Excel modelling skills. Your background could be within a group finance function or practice.
