Job summary

Goodman Masson is partnered with a leading PE backed media business in the search for a Group Accountant/Reporting Accountant to join their Central London based reporting team. This hybrid role blends technical financial reporting with business-facing responsibilities, delivering high-quality statutory and management reporting and strengthening group consolidation processes.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, lead multi-currency consolidation, and contribute to acquisition accounting

Qualifications

• Group reporting including statutory and management reporting.
• Experience with multi-currency group consolidation.
• FRS 102/101 knowledge and complex accounting issues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory and management financial reporting.
• Lead multi-currency group consolidation, including support on new system implementation.
• Oversee acquisition accounting and purchase price allocation.
• Prepare board packs and investor reporting.

Goodman Masson is proud to be partnered with a leading PE Backed Media based business in the search for a Group Accountant/Reporting Accountant to join their Central London based reporting team.

The Role:

As part of the Group Reporting function and reporting into the Senior Manager Group Reporting, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial reporting that informs strategic decision-making. This hybrid role blends technical reporting with business-facing responsibilities, including:

• Group financial reporting (including statutory and management reporting)
• Leading the multi-currency group consolidation, including support on new system implementation
• Acquisition accounting and purchase price allocation
• Preparation of board packs and investor reporting
• Business partnering with senior stakeholders across the group

What We’re Looking For:

• ACA Qualified through Audit or ACCA industry trained candidate
• Strong FRS 102/101 knowledge and experience navigating complex accounting issues
• Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders and build trusted relationships
• Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and project management skills
• Experience with group consolidations/auditing at group level
