Group Finance Manager

We are working on behalf of a valued client to recruit an experienced Group Finance Manager for a well-established business. This is a key role offering real ownership of the finance function and the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership.

The role

You will oversee the accounts function, leading a small team and ensuring the group’s financial reporting is accurate, timely and controlled.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading, mentoring and supporting a small accounts team
  • Producing timely and accurate management accounts, with full ownership of month‑end and year‑end processes
  • Managing budgets and cashflow forecasting across the group
  • Overseeing VAT returns and statutory reporting requirements
  • Managing payroll and key company renewals
  • Working closely with external auditors and coordinating the audit process
About you

Our client is looking for a confident Finance or Accounts Manager with a strong technical background and a hands‑on, collaborative approach.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in a senior finance or accounts role
