Job summary

Sanderson King is seeking a Group Finance Director / CFO to lead the Group's finance function from our London headquarters. You will work closely with the CEO, Board and leadership team to drive financial strategy, governance and growth across the hospitality portfolio.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong sector experience and a proven track record influencing at Board level, with oversight of budgeting, reporting and strategic financial planning.

Qualifications

• Significant senior finance leadership experience at Group Finance Director or CFO level.
• Strong food and beverage / hospitality sector experience.
• Experience in SME or founder-led environments.
• Willingness to remain hands-on and close to operational detail.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to influence at Board level.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Salary: £120,000-£150,000 basic salary plus bonus and benefits

Working pattern: Five days per week at the London headquarters

Sanderson King's Hospitality Practice is extremely honoured to be supporting a leading hospitality and food and beverage business with the appointment of a Group Finance Director / CFO.

This is a senior, highly visible appointment for an accomplished finance leader who can combine strategic thinking with a practical, hands-on approach. Working closely with the CEO, Board and wider leadership team, the successful candidate will take responsibility for the financial leadership of the Group and play a central role in its continued growth and development.

The role will include:

• A willingness to remain hands-on and close to the operational detail
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to influence at Board level
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills
• A recognised professional accounting qualification

Candidates whose experience has been gained solely within large PLC or highly corporate environments are unlikely to be suitable. The ability to operate effectively within a fast-moving SME environment is essential.
