This is an exciting opportunity to join the University Centre Somerset College Group (UCSCG) – a new institution formed by the merger of Bridgwater & Taunton College (BTC) and Strode College.

The College Group aims to be one of the highest-performing College Groups in the country. With a turnover a £86m, 22,000 students, 1,500 staff, and 1,200 employer partners, we are also the largest FE apprenticeship provider in England.

Are you a visionary leader ready to make a real impact? We’re looking for an inspiring Group Director of Digital Transformation and IT to lead the charge in shaping the technological future of our organisation.

In this pivotal senior leadership role, you’ll be the driving force behind the strategic direction of IT infrastructure, digital innovation, project delivery, and operational excellence. You'll spearhead the development and execution of bold digital strategies that align seamlessly with our Group’s long-term vision.

Your mission? To ensure continuous development, effective integration and smooth operation of technology to enhance teaching, learning, and administrative operations. With full responsibility for digital systems across the Group, you’ll ensure our technology not only runs smoothly, but also drives innovation, integration, and measurable impact.
