Here at Severn Trent, we’re always looking for new and innovative ways to ensure our business is run as efficiently as possibly for our customers and communities, so therefore as ourGroup Cost Transformation Lead. You’ll partner with our Executive Committee members to initiate and support the delivery of cost saving targets across the company.The role is responsible for the end-to-end ownership of companywide cost transformation projects from inception through to embedding savings into official budgets. The aim of this role is to ensure that identified opportunities are deliverable, sustainable and desirable. You’ll be supported by a business analyst who will support with data analytics, target operating model assessments and research.
You'll be based at ourSevern Trent Centre in Coventry. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week.

To be considered for this role, we’re looking for an experienced finance professional who has a successful track record as a change agent. Experience working with business leaders to challenge, assess and remodel departmental target operating models and processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness is a must.
The successful candidate will have proven ability to produce consultant quality analysis, modelling a range of financial benefits including return of investments, payback periods, cost benefit analysis, and present recommendations that will influence at the executive level.
This role requires someone who is self‑motivated, delivery driven and able to manage multiple projects at one time.
Knowledge of commercial and operational analysis, requirements gathering, GAP analysis would be beneficial. Along with six sigma or PrinceII practices, but these are not essential.
