Job description

W&A is exclusively partnering with a global consultancy and corporate solutions provider to recruit a Group Corporate Finance Manager. This newly created, high-profile role offers an exceptional opportunity to shape the financial strategy of a rapidly growing and innovative organisation.

Company Profile

With operations across multiple continents, this organisation boasts over 30 years of experience in delivering cutting‑edge data, analytics, and process optimisation solutions across a variety of industries. As part of its continued expansion, the company is seeking a finance professional to lead its group reporting, financial planning, investment analysis, and strategic decision‑making processes.

Position Profile – Reporting, Planning and M&A

In this role, the Group Corporate Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. You will provide in‑depth financial analysis and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders, as well as identify and mitigate financial risks, optimising cash flow, intercompany transactions, and working capital management.

Additionally, the role involves evaluating investment opportunities, mergers and acquisitions, and potential business expansions, while cultivating strong relationships with external stakeholders such as auditors, investors, and financial institutions. Supporting process improvements and financial system enhancements to drive operational efficiency will also be a key part of this role.

Person Profile

We are looking for a qualified CA with 1-3 years of post‑qualified experience. A candidate with any combination of the following experience will be highly advantageous: group reporting, finance operations (including tax and intercompany transactions), financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial modelling, and fundraising.

This position requires an individual who can operate effectively in a dynamic and unstructured environment, where priorities are regularly subject to change. You will be involved in a wide range of financial activities, from routine reporting to strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate flexibility, strong initiative, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. A proactive mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment are essential for success.

Package & Benefits

This role presents a unique opportunity to shape the financial future of a fast‑growing global business. A competitive salary and benefits package is on offer.

The role will be primarily remote working with the successful individual being required to attend the Edinburgh office 1 day per week.
