An evolving urban mobility solutions provider is seeking a Group Controller with 10-15 years of accounting experience to lead and develop the accounting team at their Uxbridge office. The successful candidate will oversee financial processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support strategic decision-making. Qualifications

• 10-15 years of accounting experience.
• Minimum 5-7 years in a deputy role within an accounting team in a multinational company.
• Experience working in portfolio companies of private equity or infrastructure funds.
• 5-7 years of experience as an auditor is essential.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proficient in Business Central.
• Experience with Tagetik advisable.
• Exposure to SAP BPC is a plus.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of international accounting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proven track record of accuracy.
• German language knowledge advisable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the group accounting team while working closely with local finance teams.
• Oversee the month-end and year-end close processes across the group.
• Manage the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Lead the group audit process, together with the Internal Auditor.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls.
• Support strategic decision-making with accurate financial information.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and other financial stakeholders.
