A. Strategic Leadership & Financial Planning
- Develop and implement the organization's financial strategy in alignment with growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability objectives.
- Lead annual and multi-year financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across all Strategic Business Units (SBUs).
- Provide insights to support new investments, joint ventures, global expansions, mergers, and acquisitions.
- Evaluate capital structuring options and recommend optimal funding models.
B. Financial Management & Reporting
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting according to IFRS, local regulations, and best practices.
- Oversee group consolidation, cash flow management, treasury operations, and capital allocation.
- Drive profitability analysis, cost optimization, and group-wide financial efficiency initiatives.
- Monitor key financial KPIs and provide regular performance updates to the Board and Executive Leadership.
C. Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Establish and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and governance frameworks.
- Lead enterprise-wide risk management, covering financial, operational, regulatory, and supply‑chain risks.
- Ensure statutory compliance with tax, VAT, customs, audit requirements, and corporate governance standards.
- Liaise with auditors and ensure prompt closure of audit observations.
D. Business Partnering & Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with CEOs/COOs/Heads of SBUs to drive business performance, margin improvement, and operational discipline.
- Champion digital transformation in finance, including ERP enhancements, analytics, and automation initiatives.
- Co‑ordinate financial activities across SBUs, focusing on cost control, inventory management, and working capital optimization.
- Support strategic operational decisions with robust financial modelling and scenario analysis.
E. Stakeholder Relations & External Interface
- Build strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, regulatory authorities, investors, and external partners.
- Lead fundraising efforts, debt structuring, refinancing, and major financial negotiations.
- Represent the organization in audits, board meetings, investor briefings, and financial reviews.
- Promote the organization's financial credibility through transparent communications with stakeholders.
F. Team Leadership & Capability Development
- Build and lead a high‑performing finance leadership team across group and business units.
- Drive talent development, succession planning, and the continuous enhancement of skills within the finance function.
- Foster a culture emphasizing integrity, transparency, performance, and accountability.
- Align finance teams with group strategy, values, and governance principles.
