Job summary

Elior is seeking a Group Chef to proactively manage and support a catering team while driving financial growth through cost control and culinary excellence.

You will recruit, train, and develop staff, manage stock within budget, and liaise with clients to ensure operational excellence across sites such as Cummins Turbo in Huddersfield and Graphic Packaging in Leeds.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in customer service excellence.
• A strong team player, highly confident and positive.
• Catering experience with chef skills (contract catering is desirable).

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, training, supporting and people development to deliver an efficient, high quality service to Elior UK, customer and client
• Maintaining, ordering and controlling food stocks within budget
• Ensuring ongoing team communications, including building internal and external relationships, management reporting and client liaison to enable operational excellence
• Accountable for COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal regulations, environmental policies and duty of care to customer and colleagues
• Attending other sites, including Cummins Turbo (Huddersfield HD1 6RA) and Graphic Packaging (Leeds LS11 5LX), as required to support operational needs

What you'll be doing…
