Job summary

Finatal is seeking an experienced Group CFO to partner with the CEO and professionalise the finance function across an international platform. You will lead reporting, planning, controls and performance, and drive the value-creation plan as the business scales.

The role combines strategic thinking with operational execution, delivering transparency, improving commercial decision-making and building a scalable platform to support significant growth ahead of a 2029 exit.

Qualifications

• Private equity experience in a PE-backed business.
• Proven track record as a strategically minded CFO partnering with CEOs, Boards and shareholders.
• Experience leading finance transformation across reporting, controls, systems and processes.
• Experience supporting acquisitions, integration and exit preparation.
• Experience in fund services, corporate services or financial services sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the CEO's primary financial adviser and strategic partner, delivering high-quality reporting, forecasting and performance analysis.
• Lead the transformation of the finance function into a scalable, commercially focused operation.
• Improve data quality, financial visibility and management information to support decision making.
• Drive cash flow discipline, invoicing, WIP visibility and profitability by client/service line/geography.
• Lead recovery, optimisation and stabilisation of finance systems and ERP infrastructure; support acquisition integration.
