This role involves overseeing monthly financial closes, intercompany reconciliation, and statutory accounts preparation. Qualifications

• Qualified Recognised CCAB accounting qualification (ACA / ACMA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience gained either in practice within a large firm or in a similar statutory accounting role.
• Experience of FRS 102 and strong statutory accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in timely completion of the monthly financial close.
• Ensuring control activities are completed and a strong control environment is maintained.
• Oversight of entity rationalisation activities.

Skills

Qualified Recognised CCAB accounting qualification (ACA / ACMA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)

Experience in practice or similar statutory accounting role

Experience of FRS 102 and statutory accounting

Experience of leading projects

Experience with Group reporting systems (ideally BPC/BYD)
