Qualifications

• Full professional accountancy qualification required.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a relevant financial role.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical accounting concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial advice and management accounting support to Budget Managers and Directors.
• Monitor capital budgets and provide assurance for capital projects.
• Develop and assess business cases and approvals for new initiatives.
• Support project managers with financial processes and governance.
• Produce final accounts in accordance with IFRS with disclosure notes.
• Prepare and monitor grant applications, claims and returns ensuring compliance.
