Job summary

Job description

Butler Rose is working with a great organisation in the Redruth area to recruit a Group Accountant on a permanent basis. This is a hybrid working role.

Reporting into the Head of Finance, key duties will include:

• Managing and guiding a small finance team
• Producing monthly management accounts
• Overseeing month-end and year-end closing activities
• Completing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Supporting the budgeting process and forecasting activities
• Assisting with the preparation of statutory financial statements
• Driving process improvements and enhancing efficiencies where needed
• Confidently using Excel for financial analysis and reporting

The successful candidate will ideally be a formally qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) although those who are part-qualified or qualified by experience with relevant skills will also be considered.
