Job summary

A leading construction firm in Milton Keynes is seeking a Residential Groundworks Supervisor to oversee site operations and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. Candidates should have a proven track record in groundworks supervision and relevant qualifications such as SSSTS or SMSTS. The role offers a daily rate of £250-£275, with hours from 7:30 am to 5 pm. This position is temporary to permanent.

Job description

Residential Groundworks Supervisor in Milton Keynes

Location: Milton Keynes and surrounding areas

Rate: £250-£275 per day depending on experience

Hours: 7.30 to 5pm

Job Type: Temp to Perm

Key Duties

• Looking after groundworks gangs that are completing stage 2 & 3 external works.
• Works include pathways, raising iron works, wet wells, road adoptions etc.
• Ensure the site team adheres to the company's working procedures.
• Supervise and coordinate daily site operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Report all Health, Safety, and Environmental accidents and issues.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment including the team wears full PPE, at all times.
• Deliver site inductions, toolbox talks, safety bulletins, etc.
• Lead on all aspects of health, safety and welfare on site. This includes, but is not limited to risk assessments, method statements, construction phase plans etc.

Requirements

• Proven track record as a Residencial Groundworks Supervisor.
• SSSTS or SMSTS Qualification.
• Temporary Works Supervisor.
• Streetwork's Supervisor.
• First Aid.
• CSCS Card.
• Experience of issuing site based permits (EG - to dig etc).
• Possess a full clean driving licence.
• CPCS or NPORS Plant Tickets a benefit.
