Job summary

McGinley Support Services Infrastructure Ltd is seeking a Groundworker/ Roller Driver for ongoing contracts in Birmingham. Immediate start; long-term opportunities with Tier 1 contractor to HS2.

Role involves earthworks, road construction and site preparation, operating a roller, and working within a site team with strong health and safety focus. The position requires a CSCS card, proven groundworks experience and the ability to work on major infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Groundworker and Roller Driver with CSCS card and relevant civil/infrastructure experience.
• Strong understanding of groundworks and compaction.
• Good understanding of site health and safety.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Previous HS2 or major infrastructure experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general groundworks alongside operating a roller to support earthworks, road construction and site preparation.
• Work as part of a wider site team to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
