Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd is seeking a Groundworker / Dumper Driver for a construction project in East Kilbride. The role involves operating a forward tipping dumper, transporting materials, digging trenches, and assisting with drainage and groundwork tasks on site.

You will work closely with site management and other trades, ensuring safe, efficient operations and proper site clearance and preparation for foundations. A valid CSCS card and dumper ticket are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CSCS Card.
• Must have previous Groundworker experience on construction sites.
• Must be confident operating site plant safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forward tipping dumper safely and efficiently around site.
• Transport materials, soil and aggregates across the construction site.
• Dig trenches and carry out excavation work.
• Use shovels and other hand tools.
• Clear the site by removing topsoil and anything that may affect the construction process.
• Landscaping the site.
• Clear vegetation and carry out general site clearance.
• Assist with drainage installation and groundwork operations.
• Prepare the ground for the building team to lay foundations.
• Set up and maintain the construction site.
• Laying kerbs, paving and driveways where required.
• Work closely with site management and other trades to ensure work is completed efficiently.
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
