Job summary

Glendale, a family owned environmental services provider, seeks a Grounds Maintenance Operative for the Nottingham/Derby area. You will join a team delivering grounds maintenance across sites, earning a competitive salary and benefiting from career progression opportunities.

The role includes mowing, strimming, line marking, hedge trimming and related tasks with full training provided where needed. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous knowledge of Grounds Maintenance skills and horticulture are desirable, however training will be provided.
• Previous experience of handheld machinery is desirable, however full training will be given.
• The Grounds Maintenance Operative must hold a full, clean UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Undertaking grounds maintenance work including mowing large grassed areas, strimming, blowing, line marking and renovation.
• Hedge trimming and shrub bed maintenance, plus sports markings and hard surface spraying operations.
