A leading not-for-profit organization in Leeds is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Charge Hand to join the team. This role involves supervising maintenance tasks, using gardening equipment, and ensuring safety compliance. Ideal candidates will have NVQ3 in Horticulture, excellent communication skills, and recent experience with gardening machinery. Grounds Maintenance Charge Hand – Leeds
£26,863 - £28,276 per year
40 hours per week – Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4:00pm
We have opportunities for a Grounds Maintenance Charge Hand to join our Grounds Maintenance team which forms part of the larger Estate Services team, based in Leeds. The Grounds Maintenance team is responsible for completing ground maintenance tasks over various sites across the area. Daily tasks will include completion of risk assessments, van checks, upkeep of equipment in line with safe working practice, litter picking, shrub pruning, grass and hedge cutting, weed spraying, removal of fly tipping and bin store clearances. If you have experience in a gardening role, using gardening equipment and machinery then this could be the role for you.
