Job summary

Supreme Recruitment is seeking a Grounds Maintenance Gardener for sites in Chertsey and surrounding areas. The role requires a full UK driving licence and involves lawn, hedge, and garden maintenance across sites in Chertsey.

The position is full-time with 7:00am–4:00pm hours Monday to Friday. You will operate gardening machinery, perform seasonal grounds work, and ensure outdoor spaces are safe and well-presented.

Qualifications

• Previous grounds maintenance or gardening experience.
• Ability to operate gardening machinery safely.
• Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Grass cutting, edging, and lawn maintenance.
• Hedge trimming, pruning, planting, and weeding.
• Maintenance of flower beds, shrubs, and trees.
• Leaf clearance and seasonal grounds work.
• Application of fertilizers and pesticides (where qualified).
• Operation and basic maintenance of gardening machinery and tools.
• Keeping paths and hard landscaped areas clean and safe.
• Reporting hazards or plant health issues.
• Adhering to health and safety procedures.
