Whitbread's Premier Inn in Darlington Town Centre is hiring a Ground Floor Team Member on a permanent contract for 16 hours a week. Pay is up to £13.06 per hour and the role covers check-in, breakfast and service across reception, restaurant and public areas.
You don't need hotel experience; we train you. You’ll welcome guests, answer questions, help with check-in, serve meals, and support the team during busy periods while delivering great guest care.
We're currently recruiting in our Darlington Town Centre Premier Inn. Working 16 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.
You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.
As a Ground Floor Team Member, you'll welcome guests, help them check in, answer questions, serve breakfast or dinner and do whatever it takes to help their stay go smoothly.
No two shifts are quite the same. One moment you could be helping a family check in before their holiday. The next you might be serving breakfast, recommending somewhere local to eat or helping solve a problem for a guest.
Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour
Contract: Permanent - we don't do zero-hours contracts.
Hours: 16 guaranteed hours per week.
Location: Darlington Town Centre Premier Inn - Unit 3, Feethams Leisure, Feethams, County Durham, DL1 5AD
Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.
As a Ground Floor Team Member, no two shifts look exactly the same.
Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.
If you're friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it's busy, we'll teach you the rest.
You'll be joining a team that supports each other from day one.
We'll give you the training to feel confident in every part of the role, whether you're checking in guests, serving breakfast or helping someone who's had a long day and just wants to get settled.
As you build your experience, you'll have opportunities to learn new skills and explore different roles across Premier Inn.
...then we'd love to hear from you.
