Whitbread is hiring a Ground Floor Team Member for Taunton Central (North) Premier Inn. You’ll greet guests, help them check in, and assist with breakfast or dinner service, while answering questions and solving problems to ensure a smooth stay.

Shifts include evenings and weekends; 12 guaranteed hours per week, permanent contract. Location is Massingham Park, Priorswood Road, Taunton, TA2 7RX. No hotel experience required and training is provided.

Job description

We're currently recruiting in our Taunton Central (North) Premier Inn. Working 12 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

Ground Floor Team Member – Taunton Central (North) Premier Inn

You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.

As a Ground Floor Team Member, you’ll welcome guests, help them check in, answer questions, serve breakfast or dinner and do whatever it takes to help their stay go smoothly.

No two shifts are quite the same. One moment you could be helping a family check in before their holiday. The next you might be serving breakfast, recommending somewhere local to eat or helping solve a problem for a guest.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 12 guaranteed hours per week.

Location: Massingham Park, Priorswood Road, Taunton, Somerset, TA2 7RX

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.

If you’re friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it’s busy, we’ll teach you the rest.
