Job summary

Whitbread's Swindon West Premier Inn is seeking a Ground Floor Team Member for 24 hours a week. You’ll welcome guests, help them check in, serve breakfast or dinner, answer questions, and do whatever it takes to make every stay comfortable and enjoyable.

Job description

We're currently recruiting in our Swindon West (M4, J16) Premier Inn. Working 24 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

Ground Floor Team Member – Swindon West (M4, J16) Premier Inn

You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.

As a Ground Floor Team Member, you’ll welcome guests, help them check in, answer questions, serve breakfast or dinner and do whatever it takes to help their stay go smoothly.

No two shifts are quite the same. One moment you could be helping a family check in before their holiday. The next you might be serving breakfast, recommending somewhere local to eat or helping solve a problem for a guest.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 24 guaranteed hours per week.

Location: Swindon West (M4, J16) Premier Inn - Great Western Way, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN5 8UB

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

This isn’t a role where you'll spend your shift in one place. You’ll be helping guests, supporting teammates and keeping the hotel running smoothly.

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.

If you’re friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it’s busy, we’ll teach you the rest.
