Job summary

Whitbread's Llantrisant Premier Inn is seeking a Ground Floor Team Member to greet guests, help with check-in and ensure a smooth stay. You’ll serve breakfast or dinner, assist guests, and contribute to a welcoming, efficient hotel experience at Magden park, Gwaun Elai, Llantrisant, CF72 8UX.

This role offers a permanent contract with 32 hours per week, including evenings and weekends, and a pay rate of up to £13.06 per hour. Training starts on day one to help you grow within the team.

We're currently recruiting in our Llantrisant Premier Inn. Working 32 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

Ground Floor Team Member – Llantrisant Premier Inn

You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.

As a Ground Floor Team Member, you’ll welcome guests, help them check in, answer questions, serve breakfast or dinner and do whatever it takes to help their stay go smoothly.

No two shifts are quite the same. One moment you could be helping a family check in before their holiday. The next you might be serving breakfast, recommending somewhere local to eat or helping solve a problem for a guest.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour.

Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 32 guaranteed hours per week.

Location: Magden park, Gwaun Elai, Llantrisant, Rhondda Cynon Taff, CF72 8UX

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What You’ll Do

As a Ground Floor Team Member, no two shifts look exactly the same.

Depending On Where You’re Needed, You Might

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals, including working behind the bar and serving alcoholic drinks
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure

This isn’t a role where you'll spend your shift in one place. You’ll be helping guests, supporting teammates and keeping the hotel running smoothly.

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.
