Whitbread's Oxford Kidlington Premier Inn is hiring a Ground Floor Team Member to greet guests, check them in and help with breakfast or dinner service. The role offers 10 guaranteed hours per week and a permanent contract, with pay up to £13.56 per hour.

You’ll join a busy team and support hospitality operations across reception, restaurant and public areas. No prior hotel experience is required – just a friendly, calm attitude and the willingness to learn.

We're currently recruiting in our Oxford Kidlington (Airport) Premier Inn. Working 10 hours per week, paying up to £13.56 per hour.

Ground Floor Team Member – Oxford Kidlington (Airport) Premier Inn

You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.

As a Ground Floor Team Member, you’ll welcome guests, help them check in, answer questions, serve breakfast or dinner and do whatever it takes to help their stay go smoothly.

No two shifts are quite the same. One moment you could be helping a family check in before their holiday. The next you might be serving breakfast, recommending somewhere local to eat or helping solve a problem for a guest.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.56 per hour

Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 10 guaranteed hours per week.

Location: Oxford Kidlington (Airport) - Unit 1-4 Oxford Technology Park, Technology Drive, Kidlington, Oxford, OX5 1GN

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What You’ll Do

As a Ground Floor Team Member, no two shifts look exactly the same.

Depending On Where You’re Needed, You Might

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.

If you’re friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it’s busy, we’ll teach you the rest.
