Whitbread is recruiting for a Ground Floor Team Member at London Kings Cross Premier Inn. The role is 37.5 hours per week with a permanent contract and pay up to £14.56 per hour. The location is 26-30 York Way, Kings Cross, London N1 9AA.

You’ll welcome guests, help them check in, serve breakfast or dinner (including bar service), and answer questions to keep every guest’s stay running smoothly. No hotel experience is required, and you should stay calm when it’s busy.

We’re currently recruiting in our London Kings Cross Premier Inn. Working 37.5 hours per week, paying up to £14.56 per hour.

Ground Floor Team Member – London Kings Cross Premier Inn

You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.

As a Ground Floor Team Member, you’ll welcome guests, help them check in, answer questions, serve breakfast or dinner and do whatever it takes to help their stay go smoothly.

No two shifts are quite the same. One moment you could be helping a family check in before their holiday. The next you might be serving breakfast, recommending somewhere local to eat or helping solve a problem for a guest.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £14.56 per hour

Contract

Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours

37.5 guaranteed hours per week.

Location

26-30 York Way, Kings Cross, London, N1 9AA

Shifts

Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

As a Ground Floor Team Member, no two shifts look exactly the same.

Depending On Where You’re Needed, You Might

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals, including working behind the bar and serving alcoholic drinks
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.

If you’re friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it’s busy, we’ll teach you the rest.
